Finally, we have solved one of the mysteries that have been surrounding Ducati lately. Borgo Panigale has been playing the teaser and mystery games for some time now, but the info offered in those teasers was scarce. And "scarce" is a polite euphemistic expression for "lackluster info."
Yet we could spot the bike the new video teaser entitled "This Is Sophistication" showed, thanks to certain details we observed in recent spy shots. Sophistication stands for Ducati's new Diavel-derived powercruiser. That's right, the very bike we anticipated that was engineered to give Harley-Davidson V-Rods a ride for their money.
It looks like This Is Sophistication is the last teaser in Ducati's video campaign, at least this is what the x.ducati.com website suggests. With less than a week ahead of the Ducati World Premiere 2016, it's rather hard to believe that Bologn will reveal more teasers.
On the website we mentioned, the four teaser thumbnails elegantly fill up the entire space under the video window, further enhancing the feeling that This Was It.
Now, with only four teasers and the XDucati campaign having reached an end, things become even more mysterious. People are also expecting a 400cc-ish Scrambler, but the Scrambler site is dead-silent. It's obvious, now more than ever, that whoever has the slightest interest in finding out what 2016 will bring in terms of Ducati machines has to bookmark premiere.ducati.com. Stay tuned, because we're in Milan next week!

Four teasers for nine new models?
We have an entire week until the streaming of the Ducati World Premiere 2016 becomes live, and it will be a week full of questions. Frankly, knowing that Ducati was planning to reveal no less than nine new bikes ahead of the EICMA in Milan made us believe that nine teasers would be made. Now, with only four teasers and the XDucati campaign having reached an end, things become even more mysterious.
