Ducati is pleased to announce a very successful first third this year, with massive growth and record sales in April. Technically, April 2015 has been the most successful month in sales in Ducati's history. Borgo Panigale delivered no less than 7,309 bikes in April 2015, a massive increase of 29 percent from the previous sales record of May 2012, when 6,500 units were sold to final customers.
Ducati's sales in the first four months of the year reached 17,881 units, up by 10 percent from the figures in the same period of the previous year. The sales in the first third of 2015 are also a new record for Ducati, with even better perspectives for the remainder of the year.

New models drive the growth, Scrambler becomes the best-selling bike in Italy

With three major additions to the line-up, Ducati can fuel solid growth in multiple markets. The Scrambler, the 1299 Panigale and the new Multistrada 1200 are the strongest models added to the Ducati roster, but among them, the first one shines particularly bright.

The Scrambler became the best-selling Ducati motorcycle in Italy, as it was in a way, expected, too. The strong demand for the Ducati Scrambler helped the Italian market grow by an impressive 69% over the April 2014 figures.

Spain comes second on the list, with 54% better sales, followed by Germany with 52%, UK with 50% and France with 13%. The US sales followed the positive European trend and remains the first market for Ducati in terms of sales volumes.

"For logistical reasons, the new range of 2015 will be reaching the other side of the Atlantic in the next few days, giving Ducati a good reason to remain optimistic of an even more substantial growth," states a recent press release from Borgo Panigale.

This means that the wait is almost over for those looking forward to test or receive the 2015 versions of their Ducati bikes, and somehow, we're getting ready for lots of videos of the Scrambler on the Californian beaches.
