A huge party is expected to the thrown at Borgo Panigale at the end of the year, as 2015 marks the first time when the Italian manufacturer sold more than 50,000 units. And things just don't stop here.
A recent press release from Ducati informs us that the company sold the 50,000th motorcycle on November 10 of this year, thus marking a historical moment in the company's existence. This is the first time ever Ducati manages to sell so many bikes, but the record is sure to be improved.

With the EICMA around the corner and one and a half months remaining in 2015, Ducati's record sales will grow bigger. The new models the Italian manufacturer will unveil next Monday at the Ducati World Première 2016 event in Milan are sure to boost the sales and improve the revenue for the company.

Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali was more than happy to announce the major achievement: "Reaching the 50,000 bike mark is a huge sales achievement for Ducati. Growth is not a goal in itself but, rather, an indicator of customer satisfaction with regard to both the bikes and the overall quality of our work. It’s a result we’re very proud of, one that rewards our efforts and confirms the soundness of our strategy.

"It also stems from continuous product innovation, far-reaching geographic expansion and efforts to become ever-closer to the Ducatisti community. It’s also a result that augers well for EICMA 2015, where we’ll be presenting seven all-new bikes. Together with the Monster 1200 R and another new bike eagerly awaited for the end of the year, that adds up to no less than nine new bikes for 2016
," he added.

Secrets will be unveiled on November 16

So far, Ducati has been very secretive as to what new motorcycles will be added to the 2016 line-up. Still, we know that a Diavel-derived muscle bike is on the list, alongside with the 959 Panigale, and the 939 Hypermotard.

A more off-road-hardcore version of the Multistrada is also rumored, as well as a 400cc version of the Scrambler, but for the rest, Ducati remains dead-silent.

We are only days away from Ducati's main pre-EICMA event, and Borgo Panigale is inviting everyone to take part in it, be it via online streaming. A trailer for the multiple bike launch was released and is entitled "More than Red: Black, Wild and Pop."

Enjoy more secrecy from Ducati in the video below and make sure you bookmark premiere.ducati.com for the live streaming starting at 4.30 pm (CET time).
