Ducati Multistrada 1200 Demo Bikes Arrive at British Dealers

British customers will soon get the chance to test the much anticipated four-bikes-in-one machine from Ducati, as the first Multistrada 1200 demonstration bikes have already arrived at nationwide dealerships.

UK dealers will launch Ducati’s 2010 model range and present the newly arrived Multistrada 1200 during an Open Weekend on the April 17-18, 2010.

So far dealers have seen a huge demand for the bike, but Ducati says there is still a chance to purchase a bike this summer and that further deposits are expected to be taken once customers have ridden the bike for the first time.

The entry level Multistrada 1200, priced at £10,995, was first unveiled at the 2009 EICMA show in Milan, where it has also received the Best in Show recognition.

Other new bikes for 2010 include the Monster 696 ABS and Monster 1100 ABS, the updated Hypermotard 1100 Evo, the Hypermotard Evo SP version and the Hypermotard 796.

The Sportsbike family has also expanded to include the 1198S Corse and 1198R Corse limited edition, which feature a factory team-style aluminum fuel tank, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Corse livery. This is subject to the Ducati Corse Gear offer and includes a Ducati track day at Silverstone and invitation to a WSBK race.

The new 848 Dark has also just arrived at dealerships and is also subject to the Ducati Corse Gear offer (Ducati Corse leather suit, Arai Chaser helmet, Ducati Corse gloves, Puma boots and Dainese-Ducati Back Protector).

However, Ducati warns the Ducati Corse Gear ends April 30.
