The 2013 EICMA is over and its visitors have voted the beauty queen: the all-new 2014 Ducati Monster 1200, making the debut of this bike an even more amazing one, and crowning the next step in the evolution of the legendary family of bikes.
More than 10,000 visitors took part in a survey organized by the prestigious Italian magazine Motociclismo, and they indicated the new Monster 1200 as a clear winner of this year's title, with MV Agusta's Turismo Veloce 800 being the runner-up.
Ducati Motor Holding Director of Marketing, Diego Sgorbati received the award from Corrado Capelli (President of ANCMA) Piero Bacchetti (President of Edisport Editoriale) and Massimo Bacchetti (Editor of Edisport Editoriale).
The Ducati Monster 1200 is the family's third generation of bikes, in more than two decades. The Monsters sold in more than 275,000 units and it looks like the figure will continue to grow at a bigger rate, given the warm welcome the 1200 and 1200 S received.
