Audi reported that Ducati has generated a whopping 16% increase in 2012 revenues over 2011, as they've also reached a new record number of bikes delivered to customers: 44,102. The US market was the one with the largest growth of almost 21 per cent, and has now officially become the primary focus for the Borgo Panigale guys.

Gabriele Del Torchio, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, declared that “Ducati closed 2012 with revenues of 606 million euro, an increase of 16% compared with 2011 [...] Our growth rate has been especially impressive in the US, currently our primary-focus market, with sales up by 21% compared to 2011, confirming an absolutely positive trend for this country, where Ducati sales have increased consistently for the past 30 months."

Now that it looks like business is once more going up, maybe the guys running Ducati and Audi manage to find a way to build decent MotoGP bikes, too. Ingolstadt, do you copy?
