Ducati Launches Sumisura Custom Riding Gear Program

If anything, a piece of riding gear that won't fit perfectly is a major nuisance, especially when you plan to ride hard or for prolonged periods of time. Ducati knows this only too well, and launches Ducatisumisura, a new website for personalizing riding suits.

No less than four riding suits can be personalized and tailor-made, three one-piece racing suit models and a more casual two-piece one. The Corse C2 one-piece racing suit is also available as a lady-fit option.

Of course, the D-air airbag system could not miss from this offer. The airbag suit is currently available in only a handful of markets, but things will change in the future.Dainese makes sure the quality is over the top
The racing suits are developed in collaboration with riding gear specialist Dainese, who also manufactures them. Customers can choose the type of suit they want, and then they can choose the colors of each panel that is used in making the suit.

This includes the base for the jacket and trousers, shoulders and neck, central and side bands, knees and tibiae, lines, arm and inner leg fabric, logos, sliders and more. The suits can also be made from perforated leather as an option for summer riding.

Each modification appears in a rendered image that is being generated in real time, so the rider can track progress of his or her creation. When you're done customizing the suit, the website allows exporting the selection in PDF format, mail it to yourself or others, and of course, to a Ducati dealer.

In case your measurements are not compatible with what riding gear manufacturers usually offer, you can always use the "made-to-measure" option and will be directed to a Ducati rider for taking your measurements.

As a final consideration, Ducati's new website is compatible with both desktops and handheld devices, such as tablets or mobile phones, and is available in seven languages.
