Ducati Experience Tour Brings Diavel and Multistrada 1200 Closer

The North American division of Ducati announced today the launch of the nationwide tour that offers all motorcyclists the chance to experience the brand’s most exciting models. Specifically, the Ducati Experience Tour brings the Diavel and the award-winning Multistrada 1200 closer to consumers.

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience and understand the technological innovations of the Diavel and the Multistrada 1200 first hand as Ducati staff guides them through these two magnificent motorcycles. The company says the program in question will feature a limited number of attendees.

“The Ducati Experience Tour starts with a walkthrough of each model’s unique features, is highlighted by a spirited hour-long ride and concludes with a fine Italian espresso. Ducati designed the Experience Tour to fully demonstrate the potential of these two game-changing motorcycles,” a company statement reads.

Wile the Diavel comes as blend between a naked street bike (as it is light and agile), a cruiser (imposing and comfortable) and a sports bike (powerful, offering a high level of performance), the Multistrada 1200 is able to offer four different riding modes including Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro.

The 2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200 comes with a price tag of $14,995 (EUR10,695) and is available with a set of optional 31 liter side-bags. However, if you want the added safety that optional ABS system gives you, the total bill will come to $16,495 (EUR11,754). Pricing for the 2011 Diavel has been set at $16,995, $19,995 for the Diavel Carbon and $20,395 for the Carbon “Red” version.

The Ducati Experience Tour will run from May through September in major metro areas across the United States, with the following calendar of events:
  • May 7-8: Los Angeles / Orange County
  • May 14-15: Dallas / Fort Worth
  • May 21-22: Chicago Metro
