Ducati Diavel and Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Meet on the Road

As we told you yesterday, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer and German automaker have signed a cooperation agreement, during a press conference at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The two companies, Ducati and AMG, marked the announcement through a joint display that included the new Diavel power cruiser and the new CLS 63 AMG.

The new partnership will focus around joint marketing and sponsoring activities. For example, AMG will support the Ducati MotoGP Team as the Official Car Partner from 2011.

During selected AMG events, participants will be able to test ride Ducati motorcycles, and Ducati customers will similarly have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the latest AMG cars.

In addition to that, joint events are planned for the members of the AMG Private Lounge, in which more than 13,000 AMG customers worldwide are registered.
