Ducati Christmas Card and Season Greetings Presented

The Ducati Greetings Contest launched by the Italian brand some one month ago has finally come to an end, with the winner being declared today. “We had no doubt that the Ducati community would take part with the usual dedication and passion and you didn't let us down,” Ducati stated proudly.

According to the manufacturer, over 900 designs have been uploaded onto the www.shicon.com website platform for design competitions, through which Ducati launched the Ducati Greetings Contest.

“Original, imaginative designs created with passion were the main features of all the works entered but, as always happens, we could only choose one winner,” a company statement reads. “Needless to say, it was a tough job for the Ducati-based team of judges to decide on the winning entry.”

The design chosen by the panel of judges is "Wishing you a not so silent night" by Daryl Klein, Toronto, Canada, which can be seen in the adjacent image.

The creation has kept all the guidelines from Ducati, meaning it is simple, it shows style and elegance, and is in line with the corporate image and brand values. In addition to that, it avoids religious and strong seasonal references, there are no references at dangerous behaviours like wheelie, speed, inadequate clothing, and no famous people - just as Ducati requested.

This representation of the Ducati spirit will be used all over the world as the official greetings card of the famous Italian motorcycle company. Furthermore, Klein has also won the prize of EUR1,000 (US$1,315).

Aside from this Desmo Christmas e-card, Ducati has also prepared a special surprise - the Ducati Corse Special Project with Nicky Hayden. You can see what is happening in Borgo Panigale while the company is empty and someone is walking through the offices, in the video below:
