Ducati Challenge 3D Video Game Now Available

Ducati Challenge for iPhone, iPad and PSPDucati Challenge for iPhone, iPad and PSP
After releasing a teaser for it in late April, previewing its new “Ducati Challenge” video game, the Italian motorcycle brand today confirmed the official launch. The 3D racing game is licensed by Ducati, and featuring the "Rosse di Borgo Panigale". The game is available for iPhone/iPod Touch (supporting the retina display) and in HD for iPad.

The 2011 Ducati model range is at your fingertips, including the Monster 1100 EVO, Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP, Diavel Carbon, Multistrada 1200 S, Streetfighter S and Superbike 1198 SP - speeding along fast race tracks, winding mountain roads, narrow medieval village streets, bustling metropolises and hot desert valleys.

The game offers a customizable handling system - including brake assist and steering sensitivity control based on your device leaning. Users can select one of three different graphic settings to get the best performance out of their device: best performance (all effects disabled), medium quality (anti-aliasing enabled) and high quality (anti-aliasing, motion blur and particle effects enabled).

Last but not least, access to Game Center will let players share 25 unlockable achievements and climb the leaderboards recording the best laps on each track.

In addition, the rich game Extras will include 90 exclusive Ducati images you can save on your device. The Options menu will allow you to listen to your own music playlists in-game, thus enjoying a custom soundtrack.

Players are allowed to tackle three different modes:
  • Championship Mode, where they can measure themselves against an increasing number of challenges with three difficulty settings, including qualifying rounds to gain a good position on the starting grid;
  • Quick Race, where they can jump right into the race after selecting their ride, track, number of laps and difficulty level - with more bikes and circuits to be unlocked in Championship Mode;
  • Multiplayer Mode, offering exciting challenges for up to 4 players over Wi-Fi.
