Enter the 2013 SBK machine running for the Ducati Alstare SuperBike team, the 1199 Panigale R in race livery. All the rumors on Ducati and the SuperBike comeback have finally been confirmed with the official revealing of the bike and riders' introduction.
The 2013 WSBK season will see Carlos Checa and Ayrton Badovini aboard the Ducati Alstare bikes and we can only hope that the SuperBike efforts will prove more encouraging and turn out more satisfaction than what have the tests in Sepang brought for the MotoGP factory team.
The Ducati Alstare bikes sport the ubiquitous TIM logo accompanied by the Energy TI (also seen on Iannone's Pramac machine). Battery manufacturer FIAMM has a prominent place on the fairing while the new (for the Ducati team) FICC (energy drinks manufacturer) is also present. As expected, the Alstare Ducatis run with Termignoni exhausts and are beautifully clad in the Rosso Corsa scheme.
