Ducati 1199 Panigale S vs McLaren MP12C. Bike Wins

Even if to some it might sound a bit surprising, the Ducati 1199 Panigale S avenged the stained honor of the bikes defeated by cars on the Cadwell Circuit in Lincolnshire, England. And the victory was even more tasty as the competition was none other than a McLaren MP12C.

While the battle never pretended to be the ultimate showdown between 2 super-wheelers and their 4-wheeled super-machines, the fray is nevertheless awesome.

Just as pretty much could expect, the McLaren, just like any muscular car, is faster through the tight corners, most likely because of the extra grip the outer pair of wheels grants.

However, when it comes to longer bens and straights, the advantage of being able to crank the Panigale all the way proved critical.

1199 Panigale S lapped the Cadwell track in 1m35s40, while the McLaren did 1m37s00. Close, but this time, it was a bike which ruled the day.
