Definitely a matter of love or hate, the 1199 S Fighter from Motorrad Hertrampf is a bold declaration of style. While we here are not sure yet whether the Panigale is indeed the best starting point for a naked streetfighter, it looks like the German tuner made its call.
Hertrampf dropped pretty much all the bodywork and took a shot at putting the Panigale engine and the monocoque frame on display. Some might argue that the way the 1199 Panigale was created rules out this trim, because of the various components which are left in plain sight and ruin the overall attire.
While this might be indeed true, the 1199 S Fighter is not at all ruined. It might look a bit peculiar, but definitely not on a bad way. And the supple monocoque rear subframe looks even more aggressive this way.
Now, we're not sure Ducati is so eager to add more naked fighters to their future line-up, especially as these machines seem to slowly phase out in Borgo Panigale's plans. Even if the 848 will be sacked just like the 1098 was, maybe there will be at least a true streetfighter left for the fans.
Or they'll buy the 1199 and then send it to Germany for undressing...
