There’s virtually unanimous praise for the original. The second generation is almost (willingly) forgotten. And then comes the long-lived Fox Body. Produced between 1978 and 1993 (‘79 to ‘93 model years), it had enough time to go through a few revisions and garner a major cult following.
Albeit it’s also one of those models that people love to hate. Sometimes without a motif. But that also added to its iconic, relevant status. Just check out America’s drag strips to see how many cool Fox Bodys are still duking it out with contemporary muscle and supercars.

Such as that one time when an OG Chevy Camaro was mashed with a Fox Body Mustang for DTM purposes. But perhaps that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. So, another CGI expert with a crush on third-generation ‘Stangs might have a cleaner, winter-fresh idea to make it a “Snow Wide” restomod riding low for its seven CGI dwarfs.
Anyway, we specifically pinpointed these two creations because Shashank Das, the pixel master better known as sdesyn on social media, has seemingly taken the best of both their imaginary worlds. So, here’s “Snowfox,” a custom restomod Fox Body Mustang that goes for a little bit of DTM style. But without the GM mashup outrage.
And it also has a season’s all-white appearance (with a few black bits for added contrast) with contemporary LED head- and taillights, Rotiform SIX wheels, and a minimalistic approach to branding stickers. Probably just to make sure nothing looks controversial. By the way, do also notice the winter attire kind of obscures one important detail: this slammed ‘Stang is also a widebody aero kit wonder!
