Whether it's concepts, new models or special editions, this year's Frankfurt Motor Show will have it all. So one extra limited edition can't hurt, right?

This time, it's DS Automobiles taking the initiative with the DS3 Dark Light edition. Leaving aside the poetical name, we're basically looking at a DS3 hatchback tailored for those who want to stand out from the crowd whether they're parking at the mall or just waiting in the middle of a traffic jam.

In order to make heads turn, the DS3 has a few aces up its sleeve. One of them is the Perla Nera Black metallic bodywork, coupled with the clear-backed metallic vinyl wrap along each side of the car. Shiny is the name of the game here, as you'll be able to see in the photo gallery.

We should also mention that the DS3 Dark Light is based on the DStyle Nav trim level and among other exterior upgrades clients will find signature DS LED Vision headlights, chrome door mirrors and 17-inch black diamond-cut Bellone alloy rims.

The "generous specification" as DS Automobiles calls is is continued in the cabin, where the good-looking hatch spoils customers with sport seats, a black-leather pack and aluminum pedals. Under the hood, you'll find the PureTech 110 S&S petrol engine good for 110 horsepower, that's connected to a six-speed automatic transmission.

And now, for the not-so-fun part. If you're keen on buying one, you've got to move quick. That's because Citroen's luxury division will limit the DS3 Dark Light's production to just 300 units, available in the UK.

Now, we can't tell at this point if potential buyers will find the car appealing or not, but we can provide pricing info, so you can make an idea on whether the car deserves this price tag or not.

So, there you have it: the limited edition DS3 Dark Light will remove £20,795 ($31,750 at current exchange rates) from your pockets.
