Driverless Chevrolet Aveo Attacks Pedestrians

This video was shot this Saturday, November 3rd, in the Russian city of Perm, which is located near the Ural Mountains. It shows a silver Chevrolet Aveo (Sonic in US) randomly attacking some people and is quite puzzling.
The first explanation that popped into our heads is that the Aveo was hit from behind and rolled forward. But this is not the likely explanation, because it seems it’s accelerating from standstill. No, the car is moving under its own power.

Far more likely is that this is an automatic version of the Aveo. The owner probably has an aftermarket remote start device. Normally, this should have put the car into neutral before starting the engine, but there could have been a malfunction. You can even see the headlights flashing before the Aveo starts to move, indicating remote activation.
