A bodybuilder from the UK is thanking his “guardian angel” after oh-so-narrowly escaping death in an accident that saw him flip his brand new BMW 3 Series sedan 3 times and then have it impaled by a giant wooden fence post.
Jordan Middleton-Moore had just gotten the car at the end of September. He claims he was doing 55 mph on a road in Peak District, UK, when his car hit snow and he lost control. He went off the road and flipped 3 times and then struck a fence, a post from which impaled the windshield.
The post missed Jordan by inches. It became stuck right between the two seats in the front, causing serious damage to the car. He walked away from the crash with just a bleeding nose, as he made sure to let his fans and followers know on his Insta Stories. The man literally got out of the wreck and started livestreaming, wondering how come he was still alive.
He also posted photos from the crash scene on his Facebook, along with the police statement surrounding the circumstances of the accident – only to dispute it, of course.
“Upon our arrival, we found a BMW 3 series with extensive damage after crashing through a fence and traveling some distance into a field. This was a classic case of ambition outweighing ability and the driver was very lucky to walk away with minor injuries,” a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson says in the statement.
“South Yorkshire's roads are extremely wet today with standing water in many places - including the motorway. Please slow down - it really isn't worth risking your life,” the statement continues.
Jordan claims that he wasn’t speeding and he was certainly not lacking ability, as the police suggests. He simply hit snow and he lost control of the car, so he’s not responsible for the crash. Mother Nature is.
