There are at least 4 very interesting driving games waiting to be launched this year, and among them DRIVECLUB promises to offer exactly what its name suggests - racing opponents and completing different challenges, but as part of a club with your friends.
It’s like putting up you own virtual Hell’s Angels club, but with supercars and time trials as the maiden test for newcomers. Of course, there’s not a whole new idea here and if you remember, NFS Carbon was among the first racing games that let you put up a squad.
But unlike previous other crew games, DRIVECLUB is best-served online with your friends. Don’t have friends to put up your own clan? Well, search for one and prove yourself worthy to wear its decals.
There is the possibility to do solo missions, but that would be pointless and the only thing that will entertain you in this mode will only be the stunning graphics the game offers as a Playstation 4 exclusive.
The recently released trailer shows some of the in-game features, such as the leveling up system, both for drivers and club, challenging other clubs to duel, create custom challenges and even watch what your friends are doing in the game using a special app for when you’re not near your PS.
DRIVECLUB is already available for pre-order and it will reach stores on 10th of July this year.
