Drifting while Transporting Christmas Trees Looks Like Fun

In case you haven’t already installed your Christmas tree, we have a little suggestion to make. You know how transporting the tree can turn into a bit of a chore? Well, how about drifting your tree?
I know this may sound a bit too much, but the clip below shows exactly how it’s done. The footage shows us a pair of Silvias, an S13 and an S14, each carrying a Christmas tree while having their sideways way.

The Nissans even play a bit of pair drifting games and while we aren’t exactly treated with D1 drifting championship-sized gaps between the cars, the end result is rather entertaining.

Yours truly admits he has attempted such as stunt quite some years ago. The tree had been obsessively strapped to the car, so nothing bad came out of the little parking lot play. In fact, the slip angle stuff just brought me in an even better mood than the one I already had, so installing the tree once I got home was completed in a jiffy.

Sure, the guys in the clip took the thing to a whole new level, going sideways at speed, which might’ve shaken and stirred the trees in undesired ways. Besides, it looks like they’re doing it on public roads, so let’s just hope they didn’t run into Santa performing an emergency landing.

PS: just make sure your SO is aware of the fact that the all-important Silvia in your life is a car.
