You don't even have to take our word for it, since the video below shows the driver of such a Rennsport Neunelfer trying his hand at drifting. Having taken his car to a track day, the man explores the realm that awaits any driver once the limits of grip are broken.

And with the eye-catching Martini livery of the 911 only adding to its visual aura, staying focused on this Porsche is quite easy. As you'll be able to see in the video, the driver manages to pull what we'd call respectable slides, but things don't end up quite as spectacular as those fully-sideways shenanigans you see during many TV or online shows. And there are at least two reasons for that.

First of all, contemporary go-fast vehicles are built with factors such as grip and Nurburgring times in mind, which not only makes it more difficult to initiate a slide but also complicates things once the rear end steps out.

Then there's the specific setup of the GT3 RS. From the suspension setup and the ultra-fat rear tires to the generously-sized aero package, everything about this Zuffenhausen machine has to do with beating the stopwatch - and we all know drifting makes you lose time.
