The 2018 Ford GT wasn't exactly built with drifting in mind. Like most supercars out there, the Blue Oval halo car is meant to grip and go, as, for instance, lap times seem to be more important than ever these days.
Then again, when has the Internet left a performance machine alone (think: only using it as its maker intended?). As such, we're here to show you a Ford GT performing some drifting duties.
The sideways stunt we have here takes place on a wet mountain road, with the setup being rather tight for drifting such a machine.
Nevertheless, the one behind the wheel (more on this below) made use of the road's configuration to minimize risks, by drifting uphill.
And, in his sliding path, the driver flew right past a Porsche 911 R, an uber-limited Neunelfer that he's no stranger to.
As those of you who follow our hooning tales might have figured out, the stunt we have here comes from an aficionado known as Powerslide Lover.
The gearhead constantly delivers tail-out shenanigans, in an effort to stay true to his nickname. In fact, we've talked about his most recent adventure earlier today.
That's when we showed you the man doing his thing with a Lamborghini. Then again, we're not referring to the Huracans and Aventadors that have flooded social media.
Actually, the slip angle fan got his hands on a Lamborghini Urus. And, instead of putting the SUV's 650 horses to work on asphalt, he took the thing out on gravel, with the resulting footage being nothing short of a delight.
P.S.: You shoulnd't build high expectations for the soundtrack of this Ford GT adventure. Neither the soundtrack of the machine, nor the light revs used during the wet road maneuver favor the decibels, so there's no point in seeking aural delights here.
