Now, you have to admit that a Porsche 918-inspired custom Harley-Davidson is not exactly a thing we stumble upon too often. However, such an amazing bike is real, and it rolled out the doors of UK's Shaw Speed & Custom workshop.
The donor bike was a Blackline Softail, already bare to the bone and with clean lines, ready to accept a new fate. Stripped down completely, the H-D first received a displacement boost from 1584cc to 1690cc and how breathes through Performance Machine/ Screamin' Eagle intake and Competition Vance and Hines exhausts.
The cosmetic makeover was made using RSD Clarity line parts, Boss-line PM wheels and other parts. The silver color was matched with green accents for badges, calipers and primary, to go with the customer's passion for his beloved 918.
Add in drilled covers and contrast cut accents all over the bike for an even more exclusive look, the neo-retro sprung leather seat, V-Rod headlight and the massive 240 rear tire to make a stronger statement.
The custom fuel tank was made in-house, by Shaw's Dave Rollison and it also uses cues from sportscar air intake design. Drey is no Porsche, but the new face is thousandfold cooler than the original.
