Dream The Impossible Documentary About Disabled Riders Premieres in May

Talan Skeels-Piggins is probably one of the most inspiring characters in motorcycling. We told you about his incredible life after his motorcycle accident, and now it's time to bring you even more spectacular news related to the premiere of the Dream The Impossible documentary.

Dream The Impossible is a hefty 90-minute-long video documentary that brings on screen the lives of Talan Skeels-Piggins and three other disabled road racers. These "incredible four" are racing against a host of other able-bodied riders, and do so on equal terms, with no favors and no slack given once the lights go out.

Seeing these fellows being lifted from their wheelchairs and strapped onto the very type of machines they rode when the gift of health was brutally taken from them has something almost magic about it.

At the same time, there's also a huge dose of "insanity" that drives these guys and the ones close to them, but we'd rather call it "true lust for life." And if you take a minute to think about this, too, you'd most likely come to the same conclusion we reached.

These fellows, even though spending the rest of their days using a wheelchair, are getting more from each minute of their lives than most others, especially those who are used to waiting that perfect moment for a ride.

On the (somewhat) funny side, as Talan told before, being already paralyzed reduces a bit the fear of crashing. He even had some very rough brushes, crashing hard at Assen and leaving the doctors puzzled when they heard that he was paralyzed from the chest down, yet racing shoulder to shoulder with healthy riders.

And just in case you were wondering how Talan got injured in the first place, you should also know that he wasn't responsible for the crash. Read his amazing story in this article before hitting the play button on the trailer below. The film premieres at The Curzon Cinema, Soho, on May 5, 2016.
