There’s not much of Drake that screams humility, because everything he does or owns is extra. His latest gesture was casually flaunting his limited-edition watch, a Richard Mille x McLaren collaboration piece.
As of December 2021, Drake’s net worth sits around $180 million. So, you can understand why a lot of his social media posts show his lavish lifestyle.
Between owning a Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir and a private jet, he flexes his wealth in many other ways. Recently, he partied with Leo Dicaprio in St. Barts on yachts for New Year's Eve, and then returned home. After that, he shared a random set of pictures, and what drew our attention was what he had on his wrist: a Richard Mille and McLaren watch, which comes with the official name RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph.
The watch was unveiled in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show, and it comes with quite a price tag: $190,000. While you couldn’t buy a supercar with that amount, you could buy a Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4MATIC, for example.
However, according to Instagram account Celeb Watch Spotter, its current market value is of $675,000, and that is more than enough for a brand-new supercar. In fact, for this amount, you could also buy two 2022 McLaren 720S, each with a starting price of $302,000.
It’s not unusual to see Drake sporting a McLaren-branded product, as he added a 2016 McLaren 675LT to his garage back in the day.
The RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph’s case is made of carbon and orange Quartz, and the bezel has titanium inserts that look like a McLaren’s F1 air intake.
With an approximately 55-hour power reserve, it offers an oversized date and month indicator, a 12-hour chronograph, and a 60-minute countdown timer.
Drake’s watch comes with an orange rubber bracelet, which he accessorized with a casual shirt and jeans.
