Dragons' Den Star Theo Paphitis Goes Chrometastic With His Maybach

In a move that could rive that of any Arab oil billionaire tycoon, Dragons' Den star Theo Paphitis has tricked out his ride to shine bright on any dreary British morning. By the looks of things, the millionaire is not afraid to show what he is worth.

His chromed-out Maybach was recently spotted parked by a meter on Regent Street in London, as Theo wanted to pay just a few pounds for to park rather than have a valet do it somewhere more private, according to The Daily Mail. The car is considered to be the last word when it comes to luxury and style, topping even Bentley and Rolls Royce when it comes to its exclusivity and status.

Paphitis’ range-topping Maybach 62s would cost as much as £830,000 when new, but you can expect t add a few extra thousands if you want a the latest in bling mods, like chrome paint. Though the car looks too big and ostentatious and barely fits into the parking space, we can understand the Dragons’ Den star’s passion with Maybachs, as it is a firm favorite with hip hop stars like Jay-Z and footballers like El Hadj Diouff.

Theo Paphitis is estimated to be worth £210million and has made his fortune by running the high street stationery shop Ryman, which is a UK leader in the sector. He must have sold a lot of staplers to buy this car, but we are talking about his hard earned money he can do what he likes with it. We think this shows he has a bit of a sense of humor as the car to drive around London in such an imposing set of wheels.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
