There’s nothing like a good ol’ drag strip battle between two classic muscle cars. And that’s the exact reason you get to see such quarter-mile races in our news section. We love ’em!
The latest drag race we’ve stumbled upon confronts a 1970s Dodge Demon and a second-generation Chevrolet Camaro. We don’t know how many horses each of them packs under the front bonnet, but apparently the Mopar is powered by a small block engine, while the Chevy boasts a big block.

We’re not going to spoil this one and tell you who won, but if you’re looking for some preliminary drama, know that the Dodge Demon got a head start and that the winner crossed the quarter-mile line in 8.69 seconds and at 144 mph (231 km/h). Place your bets folks, this one’s a classic.
