If you think a pickup truck doesn't stand a chance in a drag race against a beefed-up Cadillac CTS-V, the video you're about to see below will prove that's not always the case.
And we're not talking about Ford's SVT Raptor, a Hennessey-tuned VelociRaptor or one of Callaway's supercharged Silverado, truck that are known to be quite powerful and fast. No! What we have here is a Toyota Tundra equipped with a TRD supercharger and many other goodies.
The truck completes the quarter mile in an impressive 12.19 seconds at 111 miles per hour and scores a narrow win against the CTS-V that could've used better shifting. The coupe crosses the line .07 seconds behind at 118 miles per hour and it would have probably won with a better launch and accurate shifting.
Not that we're unhappy with the outcome, we just love these kind of surprising quarter mile results!
