Having tons of power on the rear wheels isn’t necessarily a good thing. That’s because along with great power comes unbelievable wheel spin and almost no control whatsoever.
Even so, skilled drivers can manage to keep control of their cars after long hours of practice and countless fails. The E92 M3 is not exactly what you would call ‘outrageously powerful’. At least not by today’s standards.

It’s 4-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine makes 420 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque in standard guise, numbers that don’t impress as much today as they did back in 2006 when the car was released. Even so, turn off the traction control and go pedal to the metal and you’ll see exactly just how much damage the rear-wheel-drive setup can do with that amount of power.

Now imagine just how bad things would get in a car that has 711 HP on the rear wheels. It’s beyond comprehension. But even so, the man in the video below seems to manage and even drag races another car that, believe it or not, is even more powerful.

The E46 M3 he’s racing here was done by the guys from Lab22 and claims to have no less than 800 WHP at its disposal. Furthermore, it’s a MANUAL! Check out just how crazy things get when these two go at it, in the video below.
