Douchebag Porsche 911 Turbo S Driver Gets a Lesson from a Ferrari 458 Speciale

When it comes to drivers who lack common sense, the high output of a supercar can't compensate. On the contrary, go-fast machines tend to make such matters worse.

Case in point with the driver of the Porsche 911 Turbo in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page. We're talking about a 997-generation Neunelfer and while its Turbo badge still guarantees impressive performance, such a rear-engined machine can't match the pace of a Ferrari 458 Speciale.

The two supercar met during a drag racing event held on an airfield in Germany. And while things could've went smoothly, the Porsche driver decided to be a massive douchebag with every possible occasion.

And while the outcome of the drag race, which used a rolling start, would've been the same, the said driver made things considerably worse by coming up one of the lamest "racing driver" excuses we've ever heard once the battle was over.

Alas, we've seen more and more cases of drivers unworthy of the Porsche badge over the last few weeks or so. In fact, some of the guys we're talking about make the man behind the wheel of this 997 Turbo seems like a decent guy, as he at least didn't crash his supercar.

We can't say the same about the driver of a 991 Turbo S, who recently added fuel to the "[insert your model here] crashes while leaving car meet" fire. And while that incident showed an astounding lack of driving skill, knowing your way around a rear-engine coupe's handling limits won't necessarily spare you of the douche label.

Perhaps the best example of this comes from the driver of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK, who decided to use busy London streets as his drifting playground. Here's to hoping we won't get too many other occasions of discussing douches who should be kept away from the Porsche crest.
