Ask your friends around what they think about BMW drivers. It’s not pretty, right? Somehow, Bimmers got a really bad reputation over the years and double parking might’ve contributed to the whole thing.
Let’s face it, in today’s day and age parking really is an issue. Cities are more and more crowded and getting a parking spot can really be an exhausting and disappointing endeavor. Now imagine that you’ve been looking for a spot for 30 minutes and you see a BMW parked like in the adjacent image. Wouldn’t you lose it? That’s how a stereotype is born.
I have to admit that compared to other drivers, BMW owners are a bit more prone to such “uncivilized” behavior but that doesn’t necessarily call for generalization. The reasons behind their actions might be explained better by a psychologist but I think that it’s mainly because only a certain demographic can afford such German vehicles.
Once you reach that upper-middle class status you might start believing that you’re better than everyone and do some stupid stuff like double parking, reckless driving and so on, ruining people’s days all over.
The guys from Simple Misftis decided it was time to teach these guys (and girls) a lesson. They got their cameras rolling, some cans of fake paint sprays and started ‘decorating’ their cars. Fortunately, they also left a note explaining why they did it and that they didn’t use real paint. The reactions are epic! Check it out!
