RM Auction managed to sell the Don Davis Collection last weekend, summing up over $21 million.
The most expensive car auctioned was a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTS, that was sold for over $1.9 million, setting a record for the model. The star of the auction was closely followed by a 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spider sold for $1.65 million and a 1967 Toyota 2000GT that got auctioned for $1.15 million, also making a record sell price for its kind.
Among the top sale list was a ’65 Lamborghini 350 GT, a Porsche 959, ’65 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, ’65 Shelby Cobra and a ’55 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing that was sold for $1.2 million.
RM Auction’s next events will be held at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Estate on May 25th, Concours d’Elegance of America a St. John’s on July 27th and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 16th.
