Many important figures who work in the European and Asian car business are probably not going to answer their phones for a while. This is a normal reaction, considering that the fastest "mainstream" automaker supercar on the Nurburgring title is now back to America, siting shiny in Dodge's trophy cabinet and has been obtained with a defunct vehicle.
Dodge's SRT division has now released the video that confirms the Viper ACR's 7:12 'Ring time and we're inviting you to sit back and enjoy every seconds of the hp-packed footage.

We'll remind you that the Viper is no longer being built, so team SRT turned to Texas dealer Tomball Dodge for a pair of new 2010 Viper ACRS models, with the vehicles being prepared for the feat by Mintgen Motorsports, a shop in the proximity of the Green Hell.

In case you were wondering, the car is being manhandled by Dominik Farnbacher, a race driver who's career includes participation in the American and European Le Mans Series and others.

Our say: Now this is what we call "back from the dead"
