Iconic rock’n roll band Motley Crue has announced that Dodge will be sponsoring its “Final Tour”, which is scheduled to begin this summer and will end with the group’s ultimate retirement next year.
"Whenever I talk to people about Motley Crue, the common thread is how cool and relevant the band remains even after 33 years," said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO of Dodge.  "This irreverent 'staying power' resonates deeply with the Dodge brand as we turn the corner on our 100 year anniversary. What better way to celebrate the band's final tour and the 25th anniversary of 'Kickstart My Heart' than to do it together?"

What do Dodge and Motley Crue have in common you ask? The Chrysler-owned brand has used Motley Crue’s hit single “Kickstart My Heart” in three commercials for the Charger and the Challenger “as the energy of the song and band captures the spirit and energy of the brand.” Just enough for the manufacturer to support the tour produced by Live Nation.

Founded in 1980, Motley Crue released nine studio albums and sold more than 80 million records.
