Since the American muscle car manufacturer has been quite present in the franchise’s installments throughout the years, Dodge has decided to get involved in promoting the long-expected action movie, due April 3rd. The company has just announced that the partnership implies a series of television advertorials that will be broadcast worldwide and a Furious 7 web landing website.
As we previously reported, Universal Pictures has a lot at stake with what could prove to be the most successful installment of the famous Fast and Furious saga. Like constantly teasing fans with videos, pictures, interviews with the cast and whatnot weren’t enough already, they now had Dodge joining in the marketing crew. The American automaker cut deals with both the studious and the record label that is taking care of the soundtrack album.

Some of the performance models - the 707 horsepower Challenger SRT Hellcat and Charger SRT Hellcat, the 645 - horsepower Viper GTS - and also some vintage breeds will be seen in the music videos Atlantic Records is releasing to support the original movie soundtrack album, “Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.”

Fast Dodge cars, adrenaline-filled action and heart-pounding music have fueled the Fast&Furious movie franchise. For the first time, Dodge is broadening its long-time partnership with an innovative new Atlantic Records collaboration that truly expands the power and reach of the Fast & Furious franchise and provides a natural extension for showcasing Dodge’s most powerful new performance vehicles to movie, music and car enthusiasts everywhere,” Olivier Francois, chief marketing officer, Fiat Chrysler Alliance - Global.

These being said, Dodge will support its promotional partnership with Universal with a multi tier marketing initiative that includes televisions spots for the U.S. and international markets, social media and digital ad campaigns. There’s also going to be a special Furious 7 landing page on the brand’s website.

Dodge’s move is quite big considering this means they will be present in a lot of places as one of the movie’s (if not the only) big auto sponsors.
