Dodge Demon Drag Races Suzuki Hayabusa with Surprising Ending

Regardless of how technology has evolved, the drag races that revolve around the car vs. bike theme remain some of the spiciest adventures of the sort. Well, we are now here to bring you a fresh battle of the kind, one that involves two of the spiciest machines of their kind. To be more precise, the sprinting battle we have here involves a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and a Suzuki Hayabusa.

The drag strip adventure we have here is a rematch, with the driver and the rider involved in the stunt having met before. Nevertheless, their previous encounter saw the two going at it in the 1/8-mile and the short distance meant the bike, whose launch is rather difficult, didn't have time to catch up.

This time around, though, the beasts are engaged in a quarter-mile fight, so the tables might just turn.

As explained by the YouTuber behind the wheel of the muscle car, the Suzuki Hayabusa we have here comes in factory form. And we can say the same about the Mopar animal.

Keep in mind that Dodge claims the Challenger SRT Demon can play the quarter-mile game in 9.65 seconds. However, no owner has managed to reach that figure.

In fact, the quickest run the 840 horsepower animal has delivered to date sits at 9.88 seconds. Of course, with the cooler fall weather now upon us, there are multiple Demon wielders who continue to work towards achieving the said goal.

Note that the driver of the Demon in the piece of footage below knows his way around manhandling the HEMI monster down the drag strip, with the aficionado having properly hooned the blown machine in the past.

If you happen to be in a hurry, you can skip to the 5:19 point of the video for the drag race, with the rest of the clip showcasing the drag strip chat the came before the battle.
