American car manufacturer recently introduced the Trazo C1.8, the first sedan in Dodge's line-up especially addressed to Latin American markets. In fact, Trazo will be mostly addressed to Brazilian, Argentinean, Paraguayan and Uruguayan markets, but it will only be built by Nissan factories in these countries.

To get to more technical specifications, the new Dodge model is powered by an 1.8-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder gasoline and E100 ethanol-capable engine, compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions. Trazo comes with a three-year, 50,000-kilometer warranty as standard.

“The new Trazo C1.8 by Dodge allows us to enter into a segment in which we currently do not compete. The Trazo C1.8 offers customers a high-quality vehicle with great value and provides our dealers with further opportunities to expand their business,” said Mike Manley, Executive Vice President – International Sales, Marketing and Business Development, Chrysler LLC.

Trazo is said to be focused on interior space and modern design, with a high roof height for passengers seated in both the front and the rear side of the car.

The interior was customized with easy-to-reach climate controls and an advanced audio system plus an ergonomically designed center console providing access to most features. “The instrument panel of the Trazo C1.8 by Dodge duplicates the exterior’s elegantly simple design with a horizontal layout and very efficient use of space,” Dodge said about the interior of the new car. “Space utilization and high-quality interior materials provide Trazo C1.8 with a generously sized interior, rewarding its passenger with comfort and craftsmanship.”

Unfortunately, there's no word on the pricing yet, but we hope Dodge will be kind enough to fix this omission.
