SRT Motorsport is making its debut in the Global RallyCross Championship (GRC) with a specially built racer based on the new sedan and piloted by one Travis Pastrana... if you’ve ever heard of him before.
The racing series is a derivative of the X Games rally races and is entering its second season. The 2013 Dodge Dart rallycross car will see its debut at the inaugural race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
"I have done quite a few tests in my new Dodge Dart and have been beyond impressed with its performance. Its motor is exceptionally strong and handles better than I could have imagined. All that's left to do is get out there and race the other competitors!" said Travis Pastrana, a four-time Rally America Champion and 17-time X Games Gold Medalist.
