Dodge will start taking orders of the 2015 Viper SRT later this month, but before the order books open, Dodge is offering a super deal on the 2015 Viper. As a last-ditch effort to sell all the 2014 Vipers still in dealer inventory, the American manufacturer will knock off a hefty $15,000 off the original MSRP.
That equates to $84,485 for both the 2014 and 2015 model year Vipers, which is a steal all things considered. Don't forget that the 2014 Viper SRT can do the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) run in 3.7 seconds, even though it's got a good ol' stick shift box. And then there's the fury under the hood: an 8.4-liter naturally aspirated V10 producing a chunky 650 ponies and a beastly 600 lb-ft (813 Nm) of torque.

Tire-shredding figures aside, the 2014 Viper SRT is capable of 206 mph (331 km/h) and can do the quarter mile in the mid 11-second range on street-legal tires to boot. With a few boxes ticked from the options list, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 can be had for similar money as the last 600 units of the 2014 Dodge Viper SRT, but there's a big difference between the two. The Z06 is a pumped up C7 Stingray, whereas the Viper SRT is a very fast machine from the get-go. Moreover, deliveries of the Z06 will commence in a few months or so, whereas the Viper is waiting for you at the dealer.

But wait, there's more good news for owners of older Vipers. Dodge will offer owners of the 2013 or 2014 model year Viper $15,000 in coupons that can be used to trade their current car for the 2015 Dodge Viper SRT. The lowered sticker price and $15k in coupons equate to a scarcely believable $69,485 MSRP. Speaking of which, the updated Viper boasts with 5 horsepower more, for a total output of 645 ponies. Furthermore, new stripe color packs are available, including Black Venom, Bright White, Billet Silver, Gunmetal Pearl and Adrenaline Red.

The Viper GT and GTS models now sport a new hue called Stryker Purple, while the base model is wearing an exterior color called Yorange. As for the cabin, the 2015 MY boasts with new combinations that include Alcantara, Nappa Leather and Laguna leather, including a combo called Demonic Red.
