Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 HD Wallpapers

The Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 may not have the Mustang’s solid rear axle to keep it safe while the driver indulges in burnout pleasures and yet, it does not seem to care. Before you know it, this muscle car engages in rear tire-melting activities and doesn’t seem to feel a thing. And we haven’t even gotten to the fun part - once you’re done heating up the tires, you can keep spinning them through the corners, as the Challenger has no problem with drifting. We salute this mighty machine with a set of HD wallpapers, arriving in a 1280 x 720 px or in a 1920 x 1080 px form.

As for the part with the muscle, Dodge has resurrected the 392 badge, offering us a 6.4-liter Hemi V8. Interestingly enough, the 392 cubic inch V8 was never installed in the original Challenger, but you will not hear us complaining. The combustion chambers aren’t all that hemispherical anymore, but we’ll ignore this too. Why? Simply because this V8 sounds like Hell itself and treats you with 470 hp and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque.

The front brakes also did a pretty nifty job during that burnout. Then again, they should. That’s because the 14.2-inch discs are paired with Brembo calipers - you don’t have to trust us on this one, it;s written on the car, as you can see above.

In case you were wondering, it doesn’t matter how you drive your Challenger. In fact, you can just keep it stationary - the thing will have the same fascia, an automotive expression of “badass”. Oh and don’t worry, it’s rear end is just as mean.

Let’s be honest here, the cabin of the current Challenger isn’t quite up to the job. Still, the seats are superb. After many hours spent inside them, these feel just like they look, perfect. We normally file Red upholstery under “vulgar” but it seems to work just fine here.

Before we went home, we had to pull one more of these stunts. Speaking of which, you don’t even have to use the brakes to torture the rear tires. Simply send the electronics to sleep and mash the throttle. The Challenger will take care of the rest, as you’ll be able to see in the Full HD photo gallery of our Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 review.
