The term "outlaw" is often used in the Porsche modding communities, describing machines that sacrifice everything in the name of a strong personality. And while we are now looking at a Dodge, this Challenger certainly fits the bill, at least as far as the contents of its engine compartment go.
The Mopar machine sitting before is a 2009 model, with this having completely given up its factory power. Instead, the space behind its bumper is now occupied by a good old LS. To be more precise, the Dodge is now animated by a 383 (6.2L) stroker V8, working with Holley Dominator electronic fuel injection.

And, as if the LS swap wouldn't have been enough to set purists on fire, this is a muscle car packing a twin-turbo setup, with VS Racing 66mm turbochargers assisting the motor in its quest to generate serious firepower. And it's not difficult to guess the locations of the snails (the air intake-gifted Challenger Hellcat headlights are a hint).

For the record, while turbocharging is more efficient than supercharging, thus fitting builds aiming for high output numbers, the tables are turned when it comes to throttle response and the soundtrack. That's not to say all turbo engines are decibel-shy. In fact, you'll get a soundcheck thanks to the first Instagram post below, which comes from Jessie's Performance, the specialist responsible for the project, so you can be the judge of the Challenger’s newfound aural side.

Moving on, we'll find a custom dual-core intercooler lurking behind the lower front fascia, while a Holley dual plenum intake manifold is also present and arguably makes for under-the-hood eye candy. And the engine is mated to a built GM 4L80 four-speed automatic.

Since the said video allegedly shows the first startup of the modded motor, it's clear that the project hasn't reached its final form. Nevertheless, the current state of the build is enough to grab our undivided attention.
