While it didn't seem like officers ever had a hard time identifying Kowalski's 1970 Dodge Challenger in Vanishing Point (please check out this motion picture if you haven't already done so), the '70 Challenger we have here would've certainly made the police's job easier. And it all has to do with the "tractor conversion" of the muscle car, Cummins diesel engine and all.
According to Farm Greg (now this is an aptly chosen piece of trolling), the gearhead behind this opinion-splitting build, this Mopar machine spent over twenty years outside the ring and we can see the Dodge left at the mercy of the elements in one of the social media posts below.

However, Gregory, to use the aficionado’s actual name, took the Challenger home back in September 2018. And while a lot of work has went into the project, it appears the contraption has reached its final form earlier this year.

Motivation now comes from a first-generation D250 12-valve Cummins, but, since the factory output of such an engine is not that enticing, the custom hardware featured here involved goodies such as compound turbochargers, a Bosch P7100 injection pump, methanol injection and others. And the unit is mated to an NV4500 five-speed manual, a tranny that's famous for its robustness.

Firepower aside, the newfound lifted identity of the Dodge Challenger easily sets the vehicle apart. And while such a project obviously demanded meatier wheels and tires, the setup we have here, which might remind one of a donk, only adds to the controversy.

Note that, as the intercooler impersonating an air dam shows, this isn't an all-out offroading build, especially since the machine seems to have kept its RWD aura. In fact, if you feel prepared for a bit of an overload, you can see the unusual Challenger smoking tires and rolling coal in the first post below.
