In a way, the Dodge Challenger is like the Porsche 911 and we're referring to the ever-increasing lineup. And with SRT bringing more and more incarnations of the Challenger, the risk of cannibalization can't be ignored, especially since plenty of owners have turned to the aftermarket side of the industry. And to illustrate just how complicated things have become, we've brought along a piece of footage that showcases a battle between a Dodge Demon and a Dodge Challenger Hellcat Widebody with a few extra Demon parts.
As far as we know, the Demon we have here comes in stock form, which means that, when sipping on race gas, its blown 6.2-liter V8 delivers 840 ponies.

When it comes to the massaged Hellcat, we're not sure what has been done to the car, though.

Unlike your usual drag racing battle, which involves a pair of machines fighting on one or more occasions during a single session, the brawl we have here is a two-step one.

No, we're not talking about launch control. Instead, we're referring to the fact that the HEMI cousins raced on both a "normal" surface and on a prepped one.

As such, the first part of the clip below sees the two duking it out on an airfield (hence the quotes above). Later on the in the video, we get to see the Hellcat Widebody and the Demon racing at the drag strip, Christmas Tree and all.

And one of the conclusions that can be drawn after checking out this Mopar confrontation is that it's not easy to place bets when it comes to this community. So, if you're the kind who enjoys such activities, now would be a good time to do your thing.

Oh, and since this clip comes from YouTuber Demonology, you should also be prepared for the funky twist edition the aficionado enjoys to deliver.
