A Ram 1500 with the front fascia of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat - what kind of sorcery is this? This visual shenanigan goes beyond the giggles, so let's take a bit of time to elaborate, shall we?
For starters, you should know that the rendering adventure we have here doesn't take sides. In other words, the pixel portrait described above is accompanied by a second one, which sees the Ram truck lending its face to the muscle car.

However, the Hellcat, which is here in its meanest form, namely the Redeye Widebody, only borrows the upper fascia of the 1500. Meanwhile, the pickup truck doesn't just get the whole front end of the Challenger, but also keeps the opinion-splitting... splitter guard. You know, the one that dealers are supposed to remove and which certain owners leave on - Dodge has even changed the color of the element from yellow to pink, but this hasn't done too much for the said controversy.

Now, those of you who are tuned into our Speed Shot tales (there's a tag for that below) might be familiar to both approaches. And that's because we've discussed them back in April, when we featured a design challenge introduced by Ram - the automaker invited gearheads from across the world to envision the craziest Ram truck designs.

And while the Ram-face-on-Challenger was the exact take used to announce the said social media stunt, digital artist Jonsibal was the one who brought us the reverse pixel play.

However, while the renderings we enjoyed earlier this year were closer to the kind of visual style seen in computer games, the ones we have here attempt to patch together actual bits of cars.

In fact, social media label carfrontswaps, who is behind this adventure, deserves a round of applause, since this eye candy was created nearly two months before the said official challenge.

Besides, Ram is on its way to introducing the Rebel TRX, a 2021 model that will see the 1500 enjoying Hellcat firepower, so you can always consider this an appetizer.
