Dodge Challenger Hellcat Owner Makes a Video to Whine About Build Quality

The Hellcat phenomenon continues to spread over the internet. As more and more owners receive their muscle cars, some of them feel the need to share their Mopar-related feelings and emotions with us. However, not everybody understands what paying 70 grand for 700 hp implies.

Let's take the Challenger Hellcat owner in the video below, for instance. The man made a video to complain about the build quality of his Dodge.

He mentions a few panel gap issues, as well as a paint imperfection on the hood. Moving inside the car, the guy talks about the poor quality of the leather on the seats.

While he does admit he's exaggerating a bit for the sake of the video at a certain point, he goes on to explain the bothering nature of the situation, even mentioning the weight of his girlfriend in the process.

Sure, these issues should not be there, but this guy obviously doesn't know the basic bang-per-buck rules. For one thing, he keeps comparing the Hellcat to another car he owns, a 2015 Corvette Stingray.

Expecting to get Z06 straight line performance for standard C7 money has to be the name of the game here, and that's simply not fair. For one thing, while the 'Vette (the C7 in general) has been affected by various reliability issues, the only important problem with the Hellcat has been a coolant leak solved by installing hose clamps.

Then again, we need to look no further than the Youtuber's next video to understand his ways - we're talking about a clip showing a door ding on his Hellcat, with the video thumbnail showing what appears to be a totaled Challenger Hellcat, one that just happens to be just as white as the guy's car.

Guess this guy doesn't know the difference between his supercharger whine and his online whining.
