Dodge Challenger Hellcat Meets Twisty Road, Extreme Drifting Ensues

When it comes to using the 707 hp of the Challenger Hellcat to send out smoke signals to the world, any excuse will do. The latest example of this kind sees the superchallenger drifting like crazy in the video below.

The Mopar machine has been recently thrown at a twisty road and the video below offers us some delicious sideways scenes. The adventure comes from Top Gear Magazine, who set out to see what happens when a Challenger Hellcat takes on the “Loops”.

Sure, serving a large portion of corners generally means following their twisty lines, but what we have here is, as we said, a slip angle take on the matter.

Then again, when America has drag raced, hooned and abused the Hellcat in every imaginable way, it seems only normal for Europeans to take the thing to a twisty road and start playing with the steering wheel.

Speaking of Europe

With both the 2015 Ford Mustang and the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro having reached European shores, the Challenger remains a gray market import. In fact, we want to remind you the first unit of the car to reach the Old Continent in such a manner came to us back in March.

Tuning specialist Geiger Cars imported a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. While back at home this muscle behemoth comes with an MSRP of $59,995, its Euro pricing starts at EUR86,000, which means its price sits at roughly 30 grand over the US price tag. Make of that what you will.
