We already have plenty of examples of how the Challenger Hellcat is treated on its home turf, but what about Europe? How would the Old Continent people react to this 707 hp muscle car?
A car spotter recently took a shotgun ride in SRT’s halo car to find out - it all happened in London and we have to video below serving as a testimony of the attention level the car manages to grab.
The Challenger Hellcat was driven in Central London, mainly on Knightsbridge. If London can be described as one of the worldwide high-octane machine capitals, Knightsbridge is certainly one of the top places in the city where you can spot the most extreme contraptions. Want to see ultra-rare machines such as the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6? This is the place.
Here’s what the car spotter had to say about the Hellcat in London experience - “In this video I ride inside my friend's new Hellcat and we take it around Central London. In the process, loads of people stopped in their tracks to take a photo of it! It was an incredible experience to go around Central London in the Hellcat, especially because they're very rare in the UK!”
Nowadays, the internet works on principles such as reply videos, so perhaps this comes as a reply to Sting’s “Englishman in New York”.
Speaking of Knightsbridge, the world of supercars here might change soon. We are talking about a legal initiative that aims to ban go-fast machines from revving their engines, playing loud music or acceleration violently. These are all issues that have started to affect the area more than ever before, as one too many drivers have decided to show off using their cars in a defiant manner.
P.S.: In case you were wondering, the Hellcat is available in Europe, but the vehicle isn’t imported through the official channels.
