Dodge Challenger Gets Charger Face Transplant, Looks Ready To Offend

Despite the current generations of the Dodge Charger and Challenger being almost ready to retire, there's still an important part of the muscle car community that complains about Dodge having gotten the number of doors on the Charger wrong.

As it turns out, certain aficionados have decided to take the visual fate of the Dodge Charger in their own hands, which is probably how we ended up with the contraption in the pair of images above - we'll tip our keyboards to Facebook user Pedro Murillo for these photos.

We're looking at a Challenger that has received a Charger face transplant, a move that obviously changes quite a lot of the muscle machine's appearance.

However, the transformation process of the Mopar machine didn't stop here. Instead, the two-door model was also gifted with a widebody kit - this will probably split opinions even more than the front fascia swap we mentioned above.

However, before pointing your finger to this fatbody transformation, you have to keep in mind that, once the wheels get their spacers and end up filling those arches, the machine will get a whole new look.

Oh, and those of you who imagined that the controversy surrounding this build was over were wrong. That's because the posterior of the machine has also been touched by the custom wand.

However, the rear apron looks like it hasn't been completed yet, so we won't rush to conclusions by talking about the new appearance of the bumper and how this influences the posterior of the Challenger.

It's obvious that such a contraption will split opinions more than most muscle cars out there and yet we have to wait for the project to be completed before drawing a conclusion. Who knows? Maybe you'll come across this... hybrid Dodge at your local Cars and Coffee event.
