Dodge Challenger Demon Owned by Comedian Gabriel Iglesias to Go Under the Hammer

A 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon coming straight from renowned comedian Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias’ private car collection is set to cross the auction block in a couple of weeks. The muscle car is a star in its own right, but adding the world-famous owner to the mix might just raise the bids.

Iglesias surely has a need for speed, as proved by his impressive car collection, which also includes some muscle cars. One of them is this Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, an insane drag-racing-ready beast that just happens to be road legal.

It comes with a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 SRT Demon engine capable of delivering 840 hp. It also features a Torqueflite 8-speed automatic transmission, as well as Demon-branded Nitto tires. This one has only 1,895 actual miles (3,049 km) on the odometer, and is no. 6 of 3,300 models produced, according to the car’s dash plaque.

And to be fair, this car’s main selling point is not the celebrity associated with it, but its drag-race-readiness. Not to mention the Dodge Demon is the first and only production vehicle capable of doing a wheelie at a drag strip. as FCA's Tim Kuniskis once said. Additionally, the chance to come across one such car available for sale is quite rare, considering Dodge only produced them in 2018.

Fluffy Iglesias’ Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will go under the hammer at Barrett-Jackson's 2022 Las Vegas event, scheduled to start on June 30. The auction of this specific model is expected to take place on Saturday, July 2.

The vehicle goes up for auction with no reserve, but there is no mention as to how much it is expected to sell for. Considering the car has such low mileage and is in almost pristine condition, it’s safe to assume it will be in the six-digit range.

Besides the Dodge, Iglesias is also selling his 2015 Chevy Camaro Trans Am at the Las Vegas event.
