A new wave of people owning hundred-thousand-dollar cars is growing by the hour and you folks better get used to it. No, it’s not that of rappers driving Rolls and Bentleys, nor is it about actors using Lamborghinis as their daily commute. No, we’re talking about electro house DJs that have discovered the power of extravagance through luxurious autos.
By now you guys probably learnt about the famous Canadian DJ Joel Zimmerman, best known under his performing name Deadmau5 and his crazy fleet of beautiful sportscars. He became famous among petrolheads ever since he raced his Ferrari 458 he got wrapped in a Nyan cat color at last year’s Gumball 3000. In fact he even won the Spirit of Gumball with the Purrari, which is what he used to call his Italian exotic. And we’re using the past tense because the car has no more wrap and is not even his anymore.

No, nowadays Deadmau5 is playing with other speed-toys such as a McLaren 650S he bought less than a year ago, BAC’s Mono one-seater, a customized Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and some other beauties. Heck, it appears mixing music is not really that of a bad job, doesn’t it? But is Steve Aoki as wealthy as his Canadian fellow?

To be honest we don’t really care. But we do know that he does not own that Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II. You see, the picture in fact was taken by the folks over at Eden Beach Club in Dubai who had Aoki headlining the official opening last week. Hey, considering that wheelbase it’s no wonder the Miami-based DJ has found the Rolls’ roof comfortable enough to meditate on.

And get this, it appears Steve is in fact a great fan of the brand since he likes to be chauffeured in the British luxury limousine. In fact, some times when he throws gigs in Las Vegas Aoki also has people picking him up in a Rolls-Royce Ghost.
